Microsoft Edge
Introduction
If you need to acquire a site certificate for ChathamDirect, detailed steps are provided below which will guide you through the procedure. There are instructions for the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox web browsers. You do not need to have a ChathamDirect user account to download a certificate.
(NOTE: Chatham Financial does not manage any web browsers or providers, and we have no preference as to which browser our clients use. The instructions below may be changed at any time by the owners of the referenced browsers.)
Google Chrome
Click the padlock icon in the address bar, then click the Certificate (Valid) option:
Go to the Details tab, then click the Export... button:
Specify the name of the file and location where you want to save the certificate to, then click the Save button to finish.
Microsoft Edge
Click the padlock icon in the address bar, then click the second Connection is secure padlock icon:
Click the button to view certificate details:
Go to the Details tab:
Click the Copy to File… button.
Click the Next button.
Select the “Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER)” format and click the Next button.
Specify the name of the file you want to save the SSL certificate to, then click the Next and the Finish buttons.
Mozilla Firefox
Click the padlock icon in the address bar, then click the Connection Secure option:
Click the More information option:
Click the View Certificate button:
On the Certificate details page, select chathamdirect.com and scroll down to the Miscellaneous section:
Click the PEM (cert) button to download the certificate:
Note - the certificate string is also found in the address bar, and can be copied from there.
