Generate Hedge Designation Memo
Introduction
The Run HDM workflow generates the specified HDM memo for the selected trade from previously stored HDM templates. The user can then view and download the generated HDM in .docx format.
Generate Hedge Designation Memo
From the welcome page, navigate to Accounting > Accounting Dashboard:
From this dashboard page, select one trade on which you would like to generate an HDM:
- Note: Only one trade at a time can be selected for running an HDM.
After the trade is selected, press the green Take Action button:
Under the Treatments section, click Run HDM:
You will now be taken to the HDM Workflow page. This page provides the available HDM templates (which must be previously created in the system) to select from. Select the appropriate HDM template for the trade:
After selecting the HDM template type, the HDM generating process will begin. This typically takes approximately 30 seconds:
Once the HDM has been generated, a View HDM button will appear. Select this to check that the HDM created is as expected:
The Word document should appear in your downloaded items section of your browser:
