Introduction
This guide explains how to search for trades in the ChathamDirect system, including how to effectively utilize the robust search criteria functionality.
Find your trades on the web:
From the welcome page, click Search Transactions directly under your name in the upper right corner:
To search for all transactions, click the pre-defined All Transactions on the left side of the page:
After clicking, the page displays all your trades in ChathamDirect:
- Note - trades may dynamically load as you scroll if there are a large number in the system:
To search for a specific transaction you can enter the CRN (Chatham Reference Number), IRN (Internal Reference Number or sometimes referred to as the “Client Reference Number”), date, legal entity, or other descriptive information in the search bar. Press then hit Enter:
- Note - search is not case sensitive. Once you see the result(s), simply click the View Transaction Details button to open the trade in a new browser window.
To search by a specific criterion, type the field into the search bar (e.g. Trade Date) and add the information you want and click Enter:
You can also search for more than one field at a time:
Click and drag the display fields on the left under Replacement Display Values into the Current Display Values section to change the results fields:
To save your search criteria for later use, click the Save button on the right side of the search bar:
The next time you visit the Search Transactions page, you’ll see any previously saved searches:
